BOONVILLE- A local resident is charged for allegedly doing a "burn-out" right near a village retail store.
On Monday, Boonville Police said they observed dark tire marks left on the pavement on Main Street, near Tractor Supply.
An investigation determined those marks were the result of what police described as an intentional burnout sometime shortly before 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Based on what police said they discovered through their investigation, it was determined that a red colored Ford F-250 truck spun its tires while leaving the curbside and heading east.
A few minutes later, the same truck returned and parked briefly across from the sidewalk, near one of the Tractor Supply parking lot entrances. While pulling out, Boonville Police said the driver spun the tires for a prolonged period.
Police have identified the suspect as Kenny Hoage, 42, of Boonville, NY. Hoage was formally charged with disorderly conduct.
Hoage was issued with an appearance ticket and is due to appear in Boonville Town Court at a later date. There were no further details provided.
