
LEWIS- A teenager from Northern Oneida County is faced with a pair of charges that stem from complaints of a domestic incident in the Southern Tug Hill region, authorities say.
There was no name provided for the 17-year-old juvenile from Boonville, NY. The teen was formally charged by the Sheriff’s Office on Friday for two misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief in the fourth-degree.
It’s reported that police were called out late Friday night to a domestic incident on the Osceola Road, town of Lewis.
The teen is accused of causing damage to the home and also preventing an emergency phone call to police.
At press time, police said the teen was issued with appearance tickets, which are returnable to Lewis County Family Court at a later date.
