Larceny from building complaint in Leyden leads to two arrests

LEYDEN- A pair of local suspects stand accused in a Southern Lewis County larceny investigation.

During the evening hours on Tuesday, the New York State Police (Lowville) arrested and charged Tyler J. Riopelle, 19, of Boonville, NY and Blake Alan Dragan, 19, of Constableville, NY with one misdemeanor count each of petit larceny.

Troopers say these arrests stem from a town of Leyden larceny from a building complaint on August 20.

At press time, authorities said an investigation was pending. Both Riopelle and Dragan were issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
