LEYDEN- A resident from Central New York is accused of aggravated DWI with children in the vehicle.

Sheriff’s Deputies in Lewis County were dispatched last Sunday evening to reports of a disabled vehicle on State Route 12 in the town of Leyden.

Upon their investigation, Deputies suspected the driver, Gabriella L. Tooley, 30, of Liverpool, NY was possibly under the influence.

Tooley subsequently failed field sobriety tests on scene. Police said there were four children under the age of 16 present, in the vehicle, during the traffic stop.

During processing at the Public Safety Building, Tooley reportedly registered a .14% BAC.

Tooley was formally charged with four counts of aggravated DWI, along with another count of DWI.

Following arraignment in Lowville Town CAP Court, Tooley was released.
