Lee Center resident accused of DWI in Rome: TROOPERS

ROME- A local resident from Oneida County is accused of intoxicated driving.

During the late evening hours on Friday, the New York State Police (Sylvan Beach) arrested and charged Thomas James Jr. Campbell, 52, of Lee Center, NY with one count each of DWI (first offense) and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC or greater).

According to Troopers, these charges were issued shortly after 10:30 p.m. in the city of Rome.

At press time, police said that Campbell was issued with an appearance ticket.
