Local resident charged with alleged unlicensed operation in Deerfield

DEERFIELD- A local resident from the Herkimer County area is accused of unlicensed operation.

During the late evening hours on Wednesday, the New York State Police (Marcy) said they arrested and charged Kara Alexis Bornes, 30, of Cold Brook, NY with one count of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second-degree.

According to Troopers, this arrest was made shortly after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in the town of Deerfield.

At press time, authorities said that Bornes was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
