Lowville resident charged with felony criminal contempt in Lewis County, police say

NEW BREMEN- A domestic incident this week in Lewis County has resulted in a felony charge lodged against a local resident, authorities say.

Melissa S. Gudridge, 42, of Lowville, NY was arrested Monday night by the New York State Police (Lowville). Gudridge is formally charged with one felony count of criminal contempt in the first-degree (physical contact).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from an alleged domestic incident Monday evening in the town of Diana.

At press time, police said Gudridge was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
