Lyons Falls resident charged with criminal contempt in Herkimer County, Troopers say

WINFIELD- A local resident is faced with an accusation in Herkimer County.

On Tuesday afternoon, the New York State Police (West Winfield) announced the arrest of Jeremy L. Walters, 23, of Lyons Falls, NY for one misdemeanor count of criminal contempt in the second-degree (disobeying court order).

According to Troopers, this charge was filed in the wake of a reported domestic incident earlier that morning in the town of Winfield.

At press time, police said that Walters’ arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.
