North Country resident accused of unlawfully dealing with a child, Troopers say

WEST CARTHAGE- A North Country area resident is accused of unlawfully dealing with a child in Jefferson County.

According to the New York State Police (Lowville), Paul Joshua Bailey, 20, of Carthage, NY was arrested and charged on Wednesday evening for one misdemeanor count of unlawfully dealing with a child in the first-degree (alcohol).

According to Troopers, this arrest stems from a complaint on July 3 in the village of West Carthage.

At press time, police said an investigation remains pending. Bailey was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
