
GLENFIELD- Authorities are looking into what caused a single family house to go up in flames Sunday evening.
Initial calls to 9-1-1 came in shortly before 7:00 p.m., suggesting that there was a structure fire at 6585 Oliver Place.
One of the callers told dispatchers that all occupants had made it outside. The property is owned by Lansing McKee and there was no insurance.
The Red Cross was contacted to assist.
The home and all contents within were completely destroyed and because the remnants of the structure were so fragile, they had to be taken down.
3-G Fire Department was the primary responder, as they received mutual aid from Lowville, Martinsburg, New Bremen and Turin.
At press time, the office of Emergency Management said a cause for this fire is still undetermined, but remains under investigation,
No injuries were reported.
Members from Search & Rescue, the Sheriff's Office, Cause & Origin Team, the Highway Department and National Grid all assisted.
