UTICA- The person from Syracuse, NY suspected of smuggling drugs into an area prison appeared this week in Oneida County Court for arraignment.
According to the latest updates from WKTV, Shondrea Taylor allegedly failed to show up for her original court appearance back on July 14.
Authorities spent the following couple of weeks trying to pin down her whereabouts before appearing for court on Monday.
Taylor is accused of sneaking potent drugs into Mohawk Correctional Facility earlier this spring. Two Correctional Officers who came into contact with the substances ended up being hospitalized.
Taylor pleaded not guilty to all charges against her, including criminally possessing a controlled substance and promoting prison contraband.
Bail was set at $10,000 cash and Taylor is due back in court on August 25.
