BOONVILLE- It was a difficult decision, but committee members for the Boonville Snow Festival II have decided to cancel sled racing action for the weekend of January 26 - 28.

"With the lack of snow, we won’t have the snowbanks which are a huge part of our safety protocols. With the high temperatures and rain in the forecast, it is not safe for racing," the Snow Fest committee said in a released statement. 

"We are extremely disappointed and hope that we can reschedule for next month. We are reviewing the possibility of a postponement date."

If the committee is able to schedule another weekend, they will follow up with another announcement.
