
LYONS FALLS- There will be no fireworks or festival this year for the Fourth of July in Lyons Falls, NY, as local officials are citing a lack of volunteers, funding and vendors.
This development has surfaced from WWNY-TV.
On the other hand, if all goes according to plan, the traditional fireworks and festival are expected to make a comeback for next-year in 2027.
Elsewhere in the Central and Northern New York regions, there will be fireworks and live music on the night of Wednesday, July 1 at Watertown’s Thompson City Park (live music at 5:30 and 8:00 p.m. with fireworks at dark).
On the evening of Friday, July 3, there will be fireworks and live music at Erwin Park in Boonville, NY (music starts at 7:00 p.m. with fireworks following sometime shortly after 9:00 p.m.).
On the Fourth of July, the communities of Inlet and Old Forge, NY will be hosting live music during the evening and fireworks at dark. Also, the city of Utica, NY will celebrate with live music and fireworks on the Fourth of July from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Harbor Point.
