BOONVILLE PD: Two suspects who were riding dirt bikes in the village facing several citations

BOONVILLE- Two suspects are faced with various citations after patrols tried stopping a pair of dirt bikes that were spotted operating in the village.

The incident occurred last Wednesday. Boonville Police said patrols witnessed a pair of dirt bikes operating throughout the village.

At first, police said they were unsuccessful in stopping them, however; one of the operators eventually stopped after a brief period, while the other one continued fleeing.

The subject who stopped identified themselves as Kamren T. Patnode, 23, of Rome, NY. Patnode was subsequently issued with various traffic citations, though police did allow him to have someone come and retrieve the bike.

Later on, police said Patnode returned to a Post Street address and met up with the other dirt bike operator, who originally evaded patrols.

Upon departing from the Post Street address, police said Patnode committed an offense of disorderly conduct and was issue with more traffic citations, as well as an appearance ticket for the disorderly conduct charge.

Police said they managed to identify the second dirt bike operator - a 17-year-old juvenile, from Post Street, in the village.

Once located, the juvenile was cited with numerous traffic citations.

Both suspects are due to answer the charges in Boonville Town Court at a later date.
