Boonville resident accused of stealing merchandise from Walgreens

BOONVILLE- A village resident is accused of stealing merchandise from a pharmacy store.

Last Thursday, the Boonville Police received a complaint at Walgreens Pharmacy.

It is reported that store employees witnessed someone stealing diapers and a pair of headphones.

An investigation resulted in the arrest of Kyara M. Copes, 28, of Boonville, NY for one count of petit larceny.

At press time, police said that Copes was issued with an appearance ticket. The charge is returnable to Boonville Town Court at a later date.
