WEBB- A Mohawk Valley area resident is faced with a felony offense stemming from a burglary investigation last month in the Western Adirondacks.

Michael J. Smith, 50, of Little Falls, NY was arrested on Monday evening by the New York State Police (Herkimer) on one felony count of burglary in the second-degree (illegal entry of a dwelling).

According to Troopers, this arrest stems from a burglary complaint, which was filed on June 28 in the town of Webb.

At press time, authorities said that an investigation was still pending.

Meanwhile, Smith’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.
