Castorland Resident charged with D.W.I.

VILLAGE OF CASTORLAND- A 37 year old Castorland resident was charged with D.W.I. following a Saturday evening vehicle stop in the Village of Castorland. New York State Troopers from the Lowville station charged Soni A. Barry with one count each of Driving While Intoxicated-First Offense and Operating a Motor Vehicle with .08% of 1% or more Alcohol in Blood-First Offense: both Class U misdemeanors. Barry was issued an appearance ticket to answer the charges in the Village Castorland Court. The incident was listed as “investigation pending” as of Sunday morning’s press time.
