Felony burglary charge lodged against Lowville resident: NYSP

LOWVILLE- A local resident from the North Country is accused of a felony burglary accusation in Lewis County.

During the evening hours Sunday, the New York State Police (Lowville) arrested and charged Scott R. Ielfield, 68, of Lowville, NY with one felony count of burglary in the third-degree (illegal entry w/intent to commit a crime.

Troopers said this charge stems from a burglary complaint filed June 30 in the town of Lowville.

At press time, authorities said that Ielfield was released and there were no further details provided.
