LOWVILLE- A convicted woman from Lewis County received her sentencing for raping a boy under the age of 17.
According to the latest from WNNY-TV, Nicole Lyndaker, 44, was sentenced by Lewis County Judge Daniel King on Tuesday to three-years behind bars.
She will also undergo seven-years of post release supervision.
Lyndaker will also have to register as a sex offender, while an order of protection was filed on behalf of the victim.
As previously reported, Lyndaker admitted a month ago to raping an underage boy. As part of a plea deal, she also admitted to a count of criminal contempt.
According to the office of Lewis County District Attorney Jeffery Tompkins, Lyndaker may have faced a much harsher sentence had the case gone to trial.
He added how the victim has been consulted and things turned out satisfactory for all involved.
