Local resident accused of criminal trespass in Oneida County, Troopers say

DEERFIELD- A local resident is accused of criminal trespass in Oneida County.

During the evening hours on Thursday, the New York State Police (Remsen) arrested and charged Edwin E. Cole, 48, of Poland, NY with one misdemeanor count of criminal trespass in the second-degree (enter and/or remain unlawfully within a dwelling).

Troopers said this charge was filed in the town of Deerfield.

At press time, authorities said that Cole was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
