Newport Man Arrested on a Weapons Charge in the Village of Poland

VILLAGE OF POLAND-A 52 year old Newport man was arrested on a gun-weapons possession charge Friday evening in the Village of Poland. New York State Police from the West Winfield Barracks charged Gerald J. Borden with one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4^th Degree, Firearm/Weapon; a Class A misdemeanor. Borden was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in the Village of Poland Court.
