LOWVILLE- On Monday, April 13, 2026, Lewis County Manager, Timothy Hunt, joined North Country News and discussed energy prices.

Specifically, County Manager Hunt describes how the FY 2027 New York State Budget will be late this year, again, and based on talk that has tricked back here to the North Country from the State Capitol, one of the main hold ups revolves around New York's energy policies. 

County Manager Hunt also describes how rising energy costs are going to have a continuing impact at the local level, if left unaddressed by state leaders in Albany, NY.
