Lowville Man Accused of D.W.I. in the Village of Lowville

VILLAGE OF LOWVILLE-A 64-year-old Lowville man was arrested for D.W.I. Saturday night following a vehicle stop in the Village of Lowville. Troopers from the State Police Barracks in Lowville charged Wayne J. Lawton with one count each of Driving While Intoxicated-First Offense and Operating a Motor Vehicle with .08 of 1% Alcohol or More in Blood-First Offense: both Class U misdemeanors. Lawton was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charges at a later date.
