LOWVILLE- On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, Lewis County Public Health Supervising Public Health Nurse, Marcia Ashline, joined North Country News and discussed rabies vaccinations.

This on-air segment is a follow up concerning a rabid Raccoon that was recently confirmed in the town of Watson, focusing on the importance of ensuring any pets you may have (dogs, cats, and domesticated ferrets) are kept up to date with their rabies vaccinations, as required by New York State Law.
