Lewis County issues update concerning latest highway project updates

LOWVILLE- Lewis County Government officials have issued an update concerning the latest highway projects.

According to the county government office, East Martinsburg Road has been reopened, and the culvert replacement was completed ahead of schedule.

Looking ahead, the Wood Battle Road Bridge is scheduled to be closed starting Monday, June 22 for construction. The road will be completely shut down until further notice.

Local officials say they appreciate everyone’s patience and apologize for the shifting project dates while crews are working hard to keep everything moving safely and efficiently.
