
BOONVILLE- A traffic stop last Thursday in the village resulted in a DWI arrest.
Damian R. Worden, 49, of Port Leyden, NY has been formally arrested and charged by the Village Police Department for DWI.
According to police, it was shortly before 10:00 p.m. when patrols pulled Worden over for violations of New York State Vehicle and Traffic law, to which were not exactly specified in reports.
With that said, patrols claimed suspicion of possible intoxication while they interviewed Worden during the traffic stop.
As a result, Worden was taken in to the police station and submitted to a breath test. No results were mentioned from police at press time.
Worden was also charged with other unspecified vehicle and traffic law violations.
After processing, Worden was issued with appearance tickets to appear in Boonville Town Court at a later date.
