Public meeting scheduled Tuesday, May 12 regarding increased costs to re-do Leyden Town Hall foundation

LEWIS COUNTY- A public meeting has been scheduled concerning the increasing price tag to re-do the Leyden Town Hall foundation.

Town officials reached out to us on Monday to inform local residents that this meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 12 at 5:30 p.m.

Town officials said the foundation work for the current Leyden Town Hall was first done back in the 1800’s, but needs some significant work done to upgrade it for today’s society.

With that said, town officials are pointing out an increasing price tag, one that has gone up from $175,000 to $223,000.

Town residents are encouraged to attend.
