Remsen Man Accused of D,W,I, following Accident in the Town of Remsen

CITY OF UTICA-A 31 year old Remsen man is facing a D.W.I. charge following a one vehicle motor vehicle accident that injured two people on Bardwell Mills Road in the Town of Remsen late Saturday night, New York State Troopers from the Old Forge Station charged Joseph K. Bessmer with one count of Driving While Intoxicated-First Offense, a Class U misdemeanor. Bessmer was arrested in the City of Utica where he was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Remsen at a later date. The incident remains under investigation.
