North Country Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY-21) says that President Donald Trump’s apparent threat to end the Iranian civilization was an “effective negotiating tactic.”
While speaking on CBS Mornings on Tuesday, Stefanik answered an array of questions involving some of the latest rhetoric and moves by President Trump.
She appeared on the show to promote her new book, titled “Poisoned Ivies.” Since President Trump has deleted what has become a very controversial AI image, which allegedly depicted him in the form of Jesus, Stefanik said that she “sort of missed” the whole social media firestorm because she has been focused on her new book.
She went on to explain that the President “thought it was something else than what other people thought it was depicting.”
For context, President Trump said himself that he thought the image portrayed him as a doctor.
For when it comes to the ongoing Iranian war, the Congresswoman agreed that President Trump’s apparent threat to wipe out a whole civilization is an accurate reflection of his negotiating tactics.
Finally, Stefanik, a practicing Catholic, backed Trump and his latest scathing remarks against Pope Leo XIV.
“I don’t want to see the Pope weighing in on domestic U.S. politics, or frankly national security politics,” Stefanik said.
Her newly published book is a focus around criticizing elite American universities.
