REPORT: NWS storm survey team to inspect damage in Lewis County from severe weather Tuesday

LEWIS COUNTY- Officials confirm that the National Weather Service is going to send a storm survey team out and inspect damage that was apparently the result of Tuesday’s severe weather that blasted through portions of the North Country.

Specifically, this storm inspection team will be surveying damage reported throughout Denmark and Castorland, NY areas.

The line of severe weather went through our local area during the mid-afternoon hours, leaving several areas without power.

Storm surveyors will be determining whether or not this was indeed a tornado that touched down in Lewis County.
