BOONVILLE- An out of state person is charged for allegedly passing a stopped school bus in the village.

It was during the late afternoon hours on Monday when Boonville Police started looking into a complaint, where a school bus had been passed while discharging students.

It is reported that a witness corroborated the accounts of the bus driver and aide.

Investigation resulted in a summons for passing a stopped school bus being issued to Bronx Lewis, 22, of Cedar Rapids, IA.

The charge is returnable to Boonville Town Court at a later date.
