E-bike theft near Hulbert House sparks Boonville Police investigation

BOONVILLE- The Village Police Department is currently investigating yet another theft.

This time, authorities say an e-bike was stolen from a storage area behind the Hulbert House (106 Main Street) sometime between late afternoon Tuesday and noontime on Wednesday.

According to police officials, this stolen e-bike has been described as being grey in color, with white lettering and a black seat, black handlebars and black tires.

Homeowners and business-owners in that general vicinity of the Hulbert House are being asked to review security footage from any time after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Specifically, investigators are asking those with security cameras to look for anyone riding on an e-bike.

Amidst a recent string of other thefts in the village and beyond, Boonville Police reminds residents to secure any and all belongings – this includes locking up your vehicles, garages and homes.
