Four people injured in motor vehicle accident in Rome

ROME- A two car accident resulted in four people suffering non-life threatening injuries this week.

It happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. Thursday on the Rome-Taberg Road. The Sheriff’s Office handled the investigation and according to their findings, Filippo A. Logiudice, 73, of West Leyden, NY was heading west in a Ford Bronco.

Meanwhile, Ashley Fox, 32, of Rome, NY attempted to cross Rome-Taberg Road from Success Drive in a Mitsubishi Outlander. Police said that it appears that Fox failed to yield to Logiudice, resulting in a collision.

EMS officials said that Fox and two juvenile passengers were taken to WYNN Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, Logiudice was taken to Rome Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Members from the New York State Police, Rome Fire Department and AmCare Ambulance all assisted.
