BOONVILLE- A fugitive from justice, who had a violent felony warrant out for his arrest, was nabbed by local authorities last week at the 138th annual Boonville-Oneida County Fair.

David E. Lee Turner, 46, of East Prairie, MO was at the fair as a third-party vendor when authorities arrested him on an active felony warrant for burglary in the first-degree.

The arrest stems from an incident that reportedly occurred in New Madrid County.

At press time, the Sheriff’s Office said that Turner was taken to the Oneida County Jail, where he was brought before Centralized Arraignment Proceeding and arraigned as a Fugitive from Justice Prior to Requisition to return at a later date in Oneida County Court for further extradition proceedings.
