Lewis County resident accused of stealing from Lowville Walmart

LOWVILLE- A local resident is suspected of stealing from a North Country area retail store.

According to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, James R. Sees, 53, of Greig, NY was arrested on Sunday and charged with two misdemeanor counts of petit larceny.

Based on an investigation, Deputies allege that Sees allegedly stole numerous items from the Lowville Walmart on two separate occasions, including June 1 and June 14.

After being processed at the Public Safety Building, Sees was issued with appearance tickets.

All charges are returnable to Lowville Town Court at a later date.
