Local theater choreographer in federal custody for allegedly receiving and possessing child pornography

ROME- Authorities from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York say a longtime area theater choreographer is in federal custody for allegedly receiving and possessing child pornography.

Patrick St. Thomas, of Rome, NY has been formally charged with counts of receiving and possessing child pornography.

Reports from WKTV indicate that St. Thomas has worked as a theater choreographer for both high school and local community theater productions.

The arrest stems from an investigation that sparked last September.

A search warrant was obtained back in July for St. Thomas’ home in Rome, NY.

He remains in federal custody as of this report.
