Lowville resident facing numerous larceny and bad check accusations across three counties

HERKIMER, JEFFERSON & ONEIDA COUNTIES- A local resident is faced with a variety of several larceny and bad check related accusations stemming across a three county radius.

On Wednesday afternoon, the New York State Police announced the arrest of Ryan P. Clement, 40, of Lowville, NY.

Based on reports from numerous Trooper barracks here in the North Country, Clement is facing felony charges of grand larceny in the third and fourth-degrees; criminally possessing stolen property in the third and fourth-degrees and scheming to defraud in the first-degree.

Clement is also faced with several misdemeanor counts of issuing a bad check (w/known insufficient funds) and petit larceny.

According to the State Police, these charges all stem from various townships across Herkimer, Jefferson and Oneida Counties – all stemming from complaints filed back in June.

Out of the several arrest statuses available at press time, Clement was either issued with an appearance ticket or made an appearance for centralized arraignment.
