No busts in latest State Police underage drinking and underage alcoholic beverage sale compliance checks in Oneida County

ONEIDA COUNTY- No busts were reported in the latest underage alcoholic beverage compliance operation this month in Oneida County.

Spearheaded by the New York State Police, this initiative was conducted last Friday throughout several local townships, villages and cities, including Alder Creek, Boonville, Barneveld, Holland Patent, Marcy, Remsen and Rome.

As part of this enforcement effort, numerous locations were checked for compliance with New York State Alcohol Beverage Control laws.

The initiative is designed to ensure that businesses properly verify identification and do not sell alcohol to individuals under the legal drinking age.

According to State Police figures, all locations inspected during this initiative were found to be in compliance.

The following businesses were checked and found to be in compliance:

  • Cliff’s Local Market- 11468 NY 12, Alder Creek NY 13301
  • Sunoco- 13180 State Route 12 Boonville NY 13309
  • Tap Room- 106 Main Street, Boonville NY 13309
  • Dollar General- 13194 NY 12 Boonville NY 13309
  • Stewart’s Shops- 434 Post Street Boonville NY 13309
  • Main Street Wine and Spirits- 130 Main Street Boonville NY 13309
  • Walgreen’s Pharmacy- 102 E Schuyler Street Boonville NY 13309

The New York State Police will continue conducting similar compliance checks across the region to ensure adherence to the law and to support community safety.

According to officials, these operations are a critical component of ongoing efforts to promote public safety and reduce alcohol-related incidents involving minors.
