NYSP: Lowville resident accused of criminal contempt in New Bremen

NEW BREMEN- A local resident from the North Country area is faced with an accusation stemming from a reported domestic incident this month in Lewis County.

Thomas A. Shinnick, 41, of Lowville, NY was arrested and charged by the New York State Police (Lowville) on August 14 for one misdemeanor count of criminal contempt in the second-degree (disobeying court order).

According to Troopers, this arrest stems from a reported domestic incident that same evening in the town of New Bremen.

At press time, Shinnick’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.

There were no further details provided.
