North Country resident charged with felony criminal possession of a firearm

DIANA- A North Country area suspect is faced with a felony possession of a weapon accusation in Lewis County.

According to the New York State Police, Zachary John Strough, 40, of Natural Bridge, NY was arrested previously this month on August 12 for felony criminal possession of a firearm.

Troopers said this charge was filed in the town of Diana and stems from a complaint filed back on June 3.

At press time, police said that Strough was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
