North Country suspect charged with petit larceny, criminal mischief in Jefferson County

WILNA- A larceny complaint this week in Jefferson County has resulted in the arrest of a North Country area suspect.

Owen Mono, 19, of Carthage, NY was formally charged on Wednesday afternoon by the New York State Police (Carthage) for one misdemeanor count each of petit larceny and criminal mischief (w/the intent to damage property).

According to Troopers, this arrest was made Wednesday afternoon in the town of Wilna.

At press time, authorities said that Mono was released.

There were no further details provided.
