
ROME- A pair of city suspects stand accused of fighting and one of them allegedly possessed a firearm during the incident.
It was sometime around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday when Rome Police responded to a fight at 151 Park Drive Manor.
Investigation determined that Juan Rodriguez and Jason Jones were the ones responsible.
Officers found out the fight started after Jones apparently struck Rodriguez’s 13-year-old daughter.
Both men were arrested and police say they found a firearm on Rodriguez.
Disorderly conduct charges were issued to both of them, while Jones was additionally charged with endangering the welfare of a child and Rodriguez was also charged with criminally possessing a weapon.
