On Friday, May 29, 2026, New York State Assemblyman, Robert Smullen, joined North Country News and discussed his candidacy for New York's 21st Congressional Seat, which has been represented by Elise Stefanik (R) for over a decade, but she will not be seeking re-election during the November, 2026 mid-terms.
