LEWIS COUNTY- Residents in the town of Leyden are reminded of a public meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 12 to go over the increased costs of re-doing the town hall’s foundation.
It was originally established back in the 1800’s and town officials told us the price tags to execute this project have gone up substantially.
In fact, town officials report the current expenses ring in around $223,000, which is up from $175,000 originally.
Town officials are inviting taxpayers to attend.
The meeting is aimed to begin at 5:30 p.m.
