Sheriff’s Deputies charge two local suspects with child endangerment in Lewis County

LEYDEN- Two local residents are accused of endangering the welfare of a child in the wake of a reported domestic incident last month in Lewis County.
 
 
On April 1, the Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged Luis J. Raspaldo, 28, of Port Leyden, NY and Alexis E. Casler, 22, of Lee Center, NY with one misdemeanor count each of endangering the welfare of a child.
 
Deputies say both of these arrests are the result of a domestic incident that reportedly occurred on March 28 in the town of Leyden.

At press time, authorities said that both Raspaldo and Casler were released with appearance tickets.

There were no further details provided.
