State Police charge Lewis County resident with DWI following property damage wreck in Diana

DIANA- A property damage wreck over the winter that included injuries has resulted in a DWI arrest in Lewis County.

Emergency responders were called out to the scene of a property damage wreck during the evening of February 26 on the Hands Flat Road, town of Diana.

One person was reported to have injuries, according to the New York State Police (Carthage).

Upon further investigation, Troopers announced on Tuesday the arrest of Steven R. Lancor, 35, of Harrisville, NY for one count each of DWI (first offense) and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC or greater).

At press time, police said that Lancor was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
