State Troopers arrest Lowville resident for alleged aggravated DWI in Lewis County

LOWVILLE- A local resident from Lewis County is accused of aggravated DWI in the North Country.

Matthew J. Nortz, 39, of Lowville, NY was arrested and charged on Thursday night by the New York State Police (Lowville) for one count each of DWI (first offense) and aggravated DWI (BAC of .18% or greater).

Troopers said this arrest was made sometime around 9:00 p.m. Thursday in the town of Lowville.

At press time, police said that Nortz was issued with an appearance ticket.
