West Leyden Resident Arrested for D.W.I. in the Town of Lewis

TOWN OF LEWIS-A 68 year old West Leyden resident is accused of D.W.I. following a one car motor vehicle accident on Swancott Mills Road in the Town of Lewis early Saturday morning. New York State Police from the Lowville Barracks charged Lynn Francis Platt with one count each of Driving While Intoxicated-First Offense and Operating a Motor Vehicle with .08 of 1% Alcohol or More in Blood-First Offense; both Class U misdemeanors. Platt’s arrest Status was listed as “other” on the State Police Blotter. No other details were released.
